At The Southern School of Beauty Therapy, we provide accredited courses for beauty, nails and holistic treatments.
We have been established for over 15 years and have a dedicated training facility with a team of fully qualified, specialist instructors.
Salon
We are also a competitively priced Salon offering a range of treatments from Eyelash Extensions, Nail Services and
Holistic Treatments. All of these treatments and services are carried out by newly qualified therapists and technicians who are looking to grow and develop at the start of their new career.
Kits & Products
We also have a range of Beauty, Nail and Holistic products and kits to purchase.
Why Train With The Southern School of Beauty Therapy?
We offer fast track, intensive training in Beauty, Nails and Holistic Therapies. All of our courses are accredited by The Guild of Beauty Therapists which means with our Diploma you can work professionally and obtain insurance to work on clients.
Our instructors are fully qualified and highly experienced. Each instructor specialises in the subject they teach. They have many years of teaching practice, and all run their own successful beauty businesses. You won’t be taught by one ‘jack of all trades’ who has recently qualified.
We pride ourselves on being small enough to offer a personal and friendly service, but big enough to provide the appropriate high standard of facilities necessary. Our courses are delivered from a dedicated training centre – you won’t turn up to find you are being taught in a rented office space, hotel or wholesalers warehouse!
All products and equipment are provided. You don’t need to purchase a kit to attend. We also sell optional starter kits which are for you to take home to help get you going.
Small classes for plenty of individual help – Our classes have a maximum of 6 students. (Some classes are only 4 students).

The Southern School of Beauty Therapy Diploma
Our intensive beauty courses range between 1 and 3 days. At the end of your course, if successful, you will be awarded our private training school diploma. This certificate will enable you to gain insurance and membership with whom we are accredited; The Guild of Beauty Therapists. This membership will provide you with insurance to work on clients, advertising and tickets to trade shows plus you can open accounts with wholesalers for products and equipment. This means that you can then start working and earning – for most self-employed therapists this is anywhere between £20 to £50 an hour.
